The Cohue

The Cohue was created in 1961 for students and university employees with a new program each semester. In 1991 Annick Desbizet became the director.
Today the Cohue is composed of singers with little or no experience as well as more seasoned musicians and people of various ages and nationalities (no need to be affiliated with the university to join).

Each semester the Cohue discovers new music through original and thematic programming such as “Variations on Gregorian chant from the VII to XX centuries”, “The road to Jacques Coeur”, a cabaret Berlinois or the Passion of Saint Mathew produced with the Kehlkammerkonzert.

The Cohue mixes work, music and fun, especially with a yearly work-weekend and with occasional summer tours.
